I’m tired of those B.S. “marketers”

Posted In Blog | No comments

Enough of the B.S. from all these marketers!

Have you ever gotten a call from one of those guys
who start giving you B.S. about “I work with google”
and “I can get you on the first page of google.” blah, blah, blah!

That stuff pisses me off! Does it piss you off?

Most of those jerks could care less about me, you
or our businesses!

And most of them don’t know jack about marketing or
getting results
!

I knew this and because I knew this I went out and
learned it on my own! Hard-core…school of hard knocks.

Why am I even saying this…?

…because. you. can. too.

SERIOUSLY!

One thing I’ve learned about marketing is – it’s scientific.

say whaaa?

Yes, it is about numbers and testing.

Just because something you’re doing isn’t working doesn’t
mean you’re completely off your rocker! ;)

You might just need to tweak a few things.

Time! Time! Time!

Yes this stuff takes time and lots of it. Most of us
who own a company don’t usually have the time to
mess around trying to figure out what SEO, PPC,
and blogs are as well as how to use them.

I’ve spent the time (sleepless nights) learning all
this stuff…like what works. What doesn’t work, etc.

Here’s the deal…

I’m going to show exactly what you should
do and what you can do to take charge of your marketing
so you know what is working and what isn’t.

Because let’s face it! You are likely throwing away
crap loads of money on marketing

that doesn’t work so well – or at all.

So if you want 2012 to be one of your best years you
need to get ready.

I’m going to release a course that I’ve developed
specifically for the garage door service industry.

Why?

Because that’s my industry. That’s where I started and
I’m still involved in the “on the ground” marketing for
the industry as well.

I’m going to show you step by step how to set up a marketing
campaign that works…that gets phone calls…

I don’t have time, Chris! No worries…I’ll show you how
you can either train your staff or hire extremely cheap
labor to implement these strategies for you!

Stay tuned!

Business when you want it…?

Posted In Blog | No comments

G’day! I just got done doing a slew of site reviews for companies around the country. A lot of fun…because I really do like helping small businesses get better at their marketing and make more money.

While I was reviewing all these sites I didn’t find one website that was using the power of email marketing to help their business. This is a BIG mistake and there really is no reason for it…because it’s really simple to implement.

There are many reasons why you should do this…

I guarantee you that you’re competition is most likely not doing this at all.

….anyways…

Reason 1. It’s a great way to give value to your customer by offering a Free report on “How not to get ripped off by a Garage Door Company” or something like that.

Reason 2. It’s a great way to automate the follow up process in getting NEW business (i.e. – someone on the search for a new garage door).

Reason 3. It helps you build a database of potential FUTURE customers. Just think…over time you build an email list of qualified prospects that over time you can continue to add value, build trust and rapport so when the time is right…and you need it – you can ask for their business again…and again…and again.

Let’s say you have an extra 25 springs in your inventory…

Send out an email -

subject: Springs 50% off…

“Hello to you! I’ll make this super quick. We’ve over-ordered and have too many garage door springs in our inventory. That’s great news for you! Why? We need to get rid of them because we don’t have room in our wear house.

I’ve got 15 springs right now I need to get rid of asap. I’m selling them with installation at a 50% discount off the typical rate. So if you’ve got some rusty ol’ springs on your door now is the perfect time to change them out.”

So take 15 x $150 to change the springs…that’s a couple grand just by writing a quick email.

——-

Another great reason to collect email addresses is by developing partnerships with other service oriented companies to set up referrals with each other (maybe I’ll write on that more).

Here are some of the companies you can set up an email account with:

aweber.com
icontact.com
constantcontact.com
getresponse.com

….and many more.

My favorite is aweber.com
